Mick Hipkiss
Lead Vocals and Bodhrán

Mick has been all Britain Ballad Singing Champion a stunning nine times. In fact he was asked not to enter again in order to give the others a chance! He has also won the much coveted "All Ireland" Ballad Singing Championship twice. Besides working with Drowsy Maggie Mick is in great demand as a solo singer and has toured the USA as a soloist with comhaltas. Mick's wonderful singing is the foundation of the group. Once his lilting Cork voice has been heard it will find the listeners soul and stay there forever.

Andy Jones
Fiddle, Five Sting Fiddle, Bouzouki, Tenor Banjo, Mandolin, Guitar

Andy has been with the band for almost ten years. He spent some time living and playing fiddle in Kerry where he was totally immersed in Irish traditional Music. His contribution to the band is immense and his playing gives Drowsy Maggie their distinctive instrumental sound. When he plays your feet cannot fail to tap.

Clive Powers
Double bass, Keyboards Vocals

Clive has been with Drowsy Maggie from the very beginning. His double bass gives both depth and rhythm to the sound. Besides being an excellent bass player Clive is also an extremely accomplished classical pianist.

Pete Bispham
Guitars, Tin Whistle and Backing Vocals.

Pete has been with the band from the start. His guitar provides a driving rhythm for the lively instrumentals and a sensitive accompaniment for the slower ballads. Also, Pete's whistle playing (together with Andy's fiddle) give a rich harmony which echoes the melodic singing Mick provides in many of the bands softer songs.

Aiden O`Brian
Vocal, Guitar, Uilleann Pipes, Whistles and Five String Banjo

Aiden is the latest member of the band. His considerable talent is displayed with all the instruments he plays and his fine vocal work has been a welcome addition to Drowsy Maggie.
