Drowsy
Maggie Concert Dates
Drowsy Maggie have played in every
type of venue imaginable, ranging from
small folk clubs seating 100 people to social clubs, school PTA's,
weddings
and large corporate events through to huge festivals with audiences of
over
30000. They are equally comfortable wherever they play.
People often ask if Drowsy Maggie are a dance band, the answer is no, they
are not a dance band and do not play for dances. However, their music is so
infectious that people often end up dancing in the aisles.
Drowsy Maggie's show is based on audience participation. The first set
which
normally lasts around forty five minutes, introduces the audience to the
music
gradually and the second set which can last an hour or more usually has
the
audience clamoring for more.
In short Drowsy Maggie can perform successfully at any type of function.
